CABINETS
Yesterday (Monday) was Labour Day public holiday so nothing was done on the house but when we went there today we were very excited to see that most of the cabinets have been put in including the kitchen!!
The kitchen, the doors still need to be put on and the pot draws put in.
The Colour is laminex pumice
The bathroom - Caesar stone bench top still to be put on
We went with the same colour as the kitchen & ensuite, Laminex pumice
The Laundry
The doors are laminex pumice & the bench top is Laminex oyster linea
The Ensuite - Caesar Stone bench tops still to be put on
The colour is Laminex Pumice
The rumpus room cupboards we added for extra storage. The doors and the bench top are both Laminex Pumice
ARCHITRAVES & SKIRTING
All the architraves & skirting has now been finished
INTERNAL DOORS
Most of the internal doors have been hung all that is left is
- Bedroom 2 robe doors
- the door that we added between the kitchen/living area & the hallway/rumpus
- Cavity sliding door to the walk in pantry
- Cavity sliding door from the master bedroom to the ensuite
We still have the temporary front door & temporary internal access door from the garage, I'm not sure when the proper ones get put on.
Wednesday 13th March 2013
The kitchen cabinets were finished and the kitchen bulkhead installed. I am a little disappointed with the kitchen as we were told we had overhead cupboards along the whole of the top (except where the rangehood will be) as in the display home but it turns out we dont, we have a gap either end. unfortunatly this is how it is shown in our final plans and we didnt pick up on it. Hopefully when it is all finished it will came up ok.
All the door handle have been put on the cabinets
The missing internal doors have been hung, meaning that all internal doors have been hung now
And we also have our front door
Thursday 14th March 2013
Today we received our invoice for fixing stage & painting is dueto start next week.
