Yesterday we had our electrical appointment at Hopeton Interior

INTERNAL LIGHTING

Each room comes standard with 1 baton light around the centre of the room, we have opted to keep the lights as standard but have added a couple of extra ones

- A second light to the entry on the other side of the bulkhead
- A light in the ensuite toilet
- A light in the middle of the island bench (which we will later make a feature)
- An extra light in the kitchen
- Added a light to the small hallway outside the bathroom and toilet

These were $50 each total of $250


SWITCHING

Each light is turned on & off from a single point as standard, we opted to change a few lights to be double or triple switched.

- The 2 lights in the entry are joined and can be turned on/off from the front door, next to the internal access door from the garage & in the kitchen (triple switched). $115

- The 2 kitchen lights (not including the one above the island bench) are joined and can be switched on/off from both sides of the kitchen (double switched) $58

- The rumpus room light can be switched on/off from either end of the room (double switched) $58

Total additional switching costs $231


EXTERNAL LIGHTS

As standard there is a flood light outside the laundry door, however due to new lighting regulations all outside lights must include sensors and this was not included as standard and was going to cost $200+ per exterior light. We choose to just have pre wiring to add our own flood lights later as this means they don't have to be censored and will save as money.

We got a $6 credit back for the light outside the laundry and added pre wiring for a few extra flood lights outside

- Double flood light wiring on the alfresco pillar $132
- single flood light wiring outside between the family room & dining room windows $74

We have added extra double power points to most rooms

We also added 2 weather proof power points 1 on the side of the alfresco & 1 outside the laundry

TV POINTS

There was only 1 TV point included as standard so we added another 3 to make 4 in total

- 1 in Family room
- 1 in Theatre room
- 1 in Rumpus Room
- 1 in Master Bedroom

These were $150 each a total of $450

TV WIRING

We added Wall mounted TV wiring in the Theatre Room & Family Room

This was $ 367 per room total of $734


NBN CO BASIC FIBRE PACK

This includes 3 phone or data points ran from a central location in the garage. We added an extra point

- Telephone point in the study
- Data point in the study
- Data point in Theatre Room
- Data point in the Living Room

HEAT LAMPS

We changed the standard baton lights in the ensuite & bathroom to a 3 in 1 (1 light & 2 heat lamps)

This was $ 296 with a $50 credit for the baton light = $246

We have swapped the baton lights in all the bedrooms to a light & switch with a fan provision

This was $104 with a $50 credit for the baton light = $54
